Chevrolet fun, stylish and efficient HHR continues to shine as one of the most unique offerings Compact segment. Powerful and efficient Ecotec engine are at the heart of success HHR lineup, providing performance, value and convenience. Manual transmission model EPA-rated at 32 mpg on the highway and equipped with automatic HHRs rated at 30 mpg on the highway. HHR 2LT comes with a 2.4-liter Ecotec engine is larger and Fe3 sports suspension with StabiliTrak. Additional standard features include ABS, fog lamps, bright exhaust tip, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, a 260-watt Pioneer sound system with subwoofer and bright chrome exterior trim.

During the nation's largest celebration of automotive heritage, Woodward Dream Cruise, Chevrolet introduced the newest member of the prestigious SS family: 2008 HHR SS.

HHR SS combines all the style and the ability of the popular HHR family with uncompromising performance, including turbocharged and intercooled engine that produces 260 horsepower (194 kW), unique exterior style and SS-specific interior. This vehicle was developed by GM Performance Division (GMPD), with a team of engineers and designers dedicated to crafting nothing but high-performance vehicles.

"With its muscular stance, turbocharged power and track-capable handling, HHR SS is a worthy addition to SS lineup," said Ed pepper, Chevrolet general manager. "It also reaffirms in a big way Chevy's commitment to sport compact market."

Standard features include unique exterior appointments, with all-new front and rear fascias, new front grille, rear spoiler and 18-inch polished forged aluminum wheels wrapped with Michelin performance all-seasons. Inside, SS-embroidered sport seats - with ultra suede inserts - a new gauge cluster with 140-mph speedometer, an A-pillar gauge increase and wheels, new driver-oriented steering wheel and shifter support the serious driving capabilities.

Along with high-performance attributes, HHR SS comes standard with numerous safety and convenience features, including StabiliTrak electronic stability control system and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. Optional equipment includes side impact airbags and power-operated sunroof.

New Cars By.Cadillac Type STS

STS luxury sedan features include a long list of comfort, convenience and increased security - including Lane Departure Warning and Side Blind Zone Alert. STS Platinum is also back for 2011, offers a distinctive luxury finishes, such as 18-inch wheels, leather wrapped interior, headliner AlcantaraT and exclusive Platinum badging.

All STS models are now supported by a sophisticated, direct injected 3.6-liter with variable valve timing and six-speed automatic transmission, delivering EPA-rated 27 mpg on the highway (FWD models). Northstar V-8 is no longer available. A performance handling package available and includes a 18-inch x 8.5-inch aluminum alloy, chrome-plated wheels fitted with P255/45R18 Bridgestone Potenza summer only. Four-piston caliper Brembo brakes, with front rotors measuring 355 mm x 32 mm and 365 mm x 28 mm rear rotors, provide enhanced stopping ability. All four rotors vented.

New Cars By.Cadillac  Type STSYear 2008 Cadillac STS, featuring refreshed signature style inside and out, a, a new standard 298-horsepower (222 kW) V-6 engine, and a number of new vehicle technologies, debuts at New York Auto Show, April 6 to 15 , at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

"Over the last two decades, the Cadillac STS has been a showcase luxury, performance and technology," said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manger. "In 2008 the new STS extend that legacy with a new look daring, debut engines, new high-tech standard and some of the most advanced security technology industry."

Design in, refresh and exit

With overall dimensions slightly increased, the new STS convey more than design talent that has become a Cadillac signature. Front, grille, dual-textured multi-faceted first seen on the Sixteen concept and incorporated on both the Escalade and soon-to-be-launched 2008 CTS, has been adapted to the STS, giving the luxury performance sedan a more sophisticated appearance. Vertically stacked lamp with a large, dual 70mm projector lenses are encased in the bezel, aluminized one part. High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps are now available on V-6 model.

The Lucerne is offered in CX, CXL, EXL and Super models. All include a full list of standard equipment, with the CX model offers six-way passenger power seats, power heated outside mirrors; fob range-extended button and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Powering Lucerne CX, CXL and EXL model is, responsive to FlexFuel-capable 3.9L V6 engine. This gives a 227 horsepower SAE-certified and 237 lb.-ft. torque. Lucerne Super V8 Northstar engine powered by the 4.6L is rated at 292 horsepower and 288 lb.-ft. torque.

New Cars By. Buick Type Lucerne Super  Buick has revived the name of the storied past of the 20th century to mark the beginning of a new level of refinement: Super. The badge is designated exclusively for Buick's most premium, powerful models and returns to Buick vehicles after 50 years. It will debut in model year 2008 LaCrosse and Lucerne sedans.

"We're bringing back the Super badge to represent our most premium models," said Steve Shannon, Buick general manager. "Our Supers are not just about increased horsepower, they represent the heights in design, premium content and characteristics of an exclusive trip to the Super badge."

The Supers are engineered for Buick by the GM Performance Division to inspire performance on demand. LaCrosse Super is powered by a 300-horsepower (224 kW) 5.3L small-block V-8 with GM's Active Fuel Management technology. LaCrosse Super chassis has been sport-tuned to deliver responsive handling characteristics, and in maintaining the vehicle in Buick's famous silence.

Lucerne Super adds a more powerful version of the legendary 4.6L Northstar V-8. It is assessed at 292 horsepower (218 kW), an increase of more than 6 percent of existing models. Super has improved chassis with versions particularly looking forward to Lucerne 's Magnetic Ride Control system, to ride, smooth premium that simultaneously enables crisp, responsive handling.

Buick Super: power design, elevated and performance

Design elements on the LaCrosse Super and Lucerne Super show the new face of Buick. Design cues echo those seen in popular Velite convertible concept vehicle - and recently introduced on the Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV - including the waterfall grille and portholes new. LaCrosse Super is the first and only LaCrosse model offered with Buick's iconic portholes, there are four per side to highlight V-8 engine.
